My School Kit Poem 1

Over the past few weeks we have been part of get NZ writing poetry project.  This project is aimed  to get 96, 000 poems written across New Zealand. We were sent a tin with some objects in it and I used three of these objects to write poems. Here are my poems.

    Hi Indi I love your Get NZ Writing poems! You definitely used 'sticky' words to describe the items you chose from the tin. I like them all but I think the one about the chess piece is my favourite. I liked how you talked about it being a journey through the mind. Ka rawe tō mahi tuhituhi.
